Edmund Ting

Edmund Ting’s areas of research are experimental High-Energy Physics with the ATLAS Detector, and Searches for Physics Beyond the Standard Model at the LHC.

Edmund studies aspects of hadronic final state reconstruction in the ATLAS detector relating to the performance of the Particle Flow algorithm and the removal of overlaps between hadronic jets and charged leptons using Global Particle Flow.

He is also searching for physics beyond the Standard Model in an experimental final state containing two charm-initiated jets and missing transverse momentum, motivated by supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model with possible interpretations in leptoquark models.
