Frame set to be constructed at underground lab

The concrete has been poured at the Stawell Underground Physics Laboratory (SUPL) in preparation for the construction of the building’s frame.

Representatives from the Centre and SUPL Council visited the mine to see the latest works.

The project has also been of interest to the media, with journalists and photographers joining the underground tour.

Stawell Gold Mines hosted the visit, while H Troon builders provided the opportunity for filming on-site.

Works are on track to be completed by the end of the year.
