Avirup Ghosh

Dr Aivrup Ghosh has been a postdoctoral researcher in the Dark Matter Phenomenology group in the University of Melbourne, since early 2024.

His research focuses on building models that can answer questions like the origin of dark matter, neutrino mass, and matter-antimatter asymmetries. In this regard, he has specifically studied freeze-in production of dark matter and their possible signatures in colliders like the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).

He has also been involved in studying the production of asymmetric dark matter in the early Universe and their cosmological evolution. In recent times,

He has mostly focused on the inflationary origin of dark matter, their cosmological evolution, and their implications for late Universe structure formation.
