Two Postdoctoral / Research Fellow positions at ANU in experimental dark matter detection
The Australian National University invites applications for a two postdoctoral / research fellow position in dark matter detection working in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Dark Matter Particle Physics. The roles will work on the SABRE South and CYGNUS experiments.
This positions are continuing (contingent funded). The funding that supports this project is up to 33 months.

The positions are located at the Australian National University, within the Research School of Physics.
To excel in these roles you will have:
A PhD in physics, engineering or a related discipline
Proven ability to conduct high quality research, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in at least one or more of the following areas:
Radiation detection technology, particularly in research and development
Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) and/or Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICPMS)
Gas time projection chambers (TPC), directional detection, or related technology
Data analysis and simulation of experiment, particularly detector response
