The Centre aims to create an inclusive, supportive network across all science nodes and partner universities. Mentoring programs are frequently run for all centre members, and our researchers have opportunities to be both mentors and mentees.

The Centre's mentoring programs boost equity and progress towards gender balance. Mentoring programs provide opportunities for female researchers to directly connect with experienced mentors who can offer guidance and support as they navigate their academic and professional careers.

Our internal mentoring programs are designed to facilitate connections and collaborations among researchers across nodes. These programs are about sharing scientific ideas and career advice and fostering a culture of connection and mutual support. Speed Mentoring events are held several times annually to provide a relaxed and fun approach to mentoring within the centre.

The Centre for Dark Matter and Particle Physics participates in Mentorloop, an Australia-wide support program that connects 12 ARC centres of excellence. Mentorloop provides a diverse network to help centre researchers achieve their career goals and seek advice from professional and industry partners.
