Tracy Slatyer

Professor Tracy Slatyer (MIT) is an esteemed theoretical particle physicist, who has worked extensively on searches for and models of dark matter, especially searches employing astrophysical and cosmological data.

She is an expert in the investigation of indirect astrophysical signals of dark matter, such as in the cosmic microwave background, neutral hydrogen emission, and gamma-ray observations.

Working within the Centre’s Theory program, her interest and expertise in the theoretical and observable aspects of astrophysical indirect signals will complement the Centre’s Direct Detection program, with regards to both the WIMP (high-mass) and WISP (low-mass) regimes.
