Quantum & dark matter road trip ends with Explore UWA

After visiting 25 schools, stopping off in 40 cities and towns and travelling 7,000km, the National Quantum & Dark Matter Road Trip finished in Perth on the weekend.

The road trip was the result of a National Science Week grant that enabled scientists to bring quantum and dark matter science to communities around Australia.

THe event included science-themed pub trivia evenings, public lectures and workshops, all free of charge to participants.

It aimed to share the excitement of science with schools and communities, and inspire the scientists of the future.
