Adam Batten
Adam Batten is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Swinburne University of Technology.
During his PhD, he used cosmological simulations to determine how Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) can help measure properties of the intergalactic medium and galaxy evolution.
He is currently working on using Tip of the Red Giant Branch stars as an alternative distance estimator to Cepheid variables in the Cosmic Distance Ladder. This work aims to help resolve the Hubble Tension.
